The U.S. Air Force awarded Lockheed Martin $125 million for Lot Four and Five of Long Range Anti-Ship Missiles and tooling and test equipment.

The contract modification provides for the purchase of an additional 42 Long Range Anti-Ship Missiles and 24 Weapons Data Links in support of Lot Six, a U.S. DoD release today said.

Work will be performed in Orlando, Florida; and Troy, Alabama, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 22, 2025.

The LRASM is designed to detect and destroy specific targets within groups of ships by employing advanced technologies that reduce dependence on intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance platforms, network links and GPS navigation in electronic warfare environments. It is a precision-guided, anti-ship standoff missile based on the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile – Extended Range (JASSM-ER).
