Explosions heard inside US military base on Syria-Iraq border
Several explosions were heard inside the US military base in the Al-Tanf area in the eastern area of Homs on the Syrian-Iraqi border, according to the Syrian state news agency SANA.
The explosions follow a drone strike on the same base in late October. A New York Times report attributed this drone strike as Iranian retaliation against the US for Israeli airstrikes.
