India Seals $3bn Deal with Airbus for 56 Military Transports
The Indian authorities on Friday signed a deal value about $3 billion with Europe’s Airbus for 56 C295 transport plane to switch the Indian Air Pressure’s growing old fleet of Avro transport planes.
Underneath the settlement signed between India’s Ministry of Protection and Airbus Protection and House, Airbus will ship the primary 16 plane in “flyaway” situation from its ultimate meeting line in Seville, Spain, over 4 years after the contract takes impact. The C295s might be handed over in transport configuration and geared up with an Indigenous digital warfare suite.
