Çavuşoğlu: ‘The promises made to us by Russia and the USA were not kept. We will cut our own umbilical cord.’

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu made harsh statements about Syria.

Çavuşoğlu said, “The only way for establishing permanent peace and stability in Syria is’political’ solution,” and added, “Our operations against PKK/YPG, contribute to the territorial integrity of Syria.” He continued by stating that the USA and Russia did not keep their word by saying, “You train, you give weapons, and then you condemn it insincerely.” towards the USA: “We will cut our umbilical cord ourselves. We will do whatever it takes to
clear the terrorists.’
