Bayraktar TB3 with Turkish Engine and new Cruise Missiles

TEKNOFEST -2021, which began its work on September 21, 2021, the PD222ST engine was demonstrated. We are talking about the first Turkish turbodiesel aircraft engine PD222ST for strike drones and the start of delivery of a new turbojet KTJ-3200 for ATMACA RCC and cruise missile “air-surface” SOM.

TUSAŞ Motor Sanayii AŞ [TEI] has developed a new engine with 5 kg less weight and 55 horsepower more powerful than the first Turkish model of the turbo-diesel aircraft engine PD170, which was created under the import replacement program Drone Anka-S.

According to Mahmut Faruk Akşit, CEO and Chairman of TEI’s Board of Directors, the new engine will allow Bayraktar TB3 drones to take off with a payload from the runway deck of Turkey’s first TCG Anadolu universal landing craft.
