Libya Ordusu, Sirte’de, ülkenin doğusundaki gayrimeşru silahlı güçlerin lideri Halife Hafter milislerine destek veren Birleşik Arap Emirlikleri’ne (BAE) ait bir SİHA düşürdü.
Libya Ordusunun yürüttüğü Öfke Volkanı Operasyonu sosyal medya hesabından yapılan açıklamada, Sirte’nin “30. Kapı” bölgesinde Hafter milislerine destek veren BAE’ye ait CAIG Wing Loong tipi bir SİHA’nın düşürüldüğü belirtildi.
Libya Ordusu bugün, Sirte, Cufra Askeri Hava Üssü ve çevresindeki bölgeleri, Halife Hafter’e bağlı milislerden kurtarmak için “Zafer Yolları” isimli yeni bir harekat başlattığını duyurmuştu.
Başkent Trablus’un yaklaşık 450 kilometre doğusundaki sahil kenti Sirte’ye ilerleyen Libya Ordusu, bugün Sirte’nin batısındaki Vişke beldesini Hafter milislerinden kurtarmıştı.
