Turkey, Ukraine sign memorandum on construction of UAVs maintenance center

Ukraine and Turkey have signed a memorandum on the construction of a joint training-expert center for maintenance, repair and modernization of UAVs, as well as training for operating Bayraktar unmanned aerial vehicles, the press service of the President of Ukraine reports.

The memorandum was signed between the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and Bayraktar Savunma in the presence of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“We have waited for a long time for this moment. This is a major event for us Ukrainians,”

Zelenskyy emphasized after the signing of the document and, on behalf of himself and the Ukrainian people, expressed gratitude to President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan for supporting the implementation of the program.
