NATO reconnaissance planes flies over Libya

The Itamilradar website monitored the taking off of a Northrop Grumman RQ-4D Phoenix unmanned aircraft from NATO,  on Wednesday morning, from Sigonella Airport in Sicily, Italy.

The plane headed south towards Libya on a monitoring mission in Libyan airspace, and remained visible on radars until it entered Libyan airspace, where it, as usual, turned off its transmitters and receivers.

The Libyan airspace has witnessed intense aircraft movement, in the recent period, especially after the Turkish air bridge, which is flown from the Turkish bases to the Libyan west, and the frequent Russian reconnaissance flights, in addition to the monitoring tasks that NATO regularly implements.
