Putin: NATO’s de facto military presence in Ukraine presents a real danger for Russia

President of Russia Vladimir Putin says NATO’s actual military presence in Ukraine poses a real threat to Russia, Interfax reports.

“That threat [from NATO] is of essential significance for us. The official accession [of Ukraine] to NATO might not happen, but the military realization of the territory is already in progress, and this truly poses a risk to the Russian Federation,” President Vladimir Putin declared during a meeting at Valdai.
